Have you noticed that you never see a telephone booth anymore? I know that in the age of cell phones they are nearly obsolete, but when did they leave? I didn't even realized they were gone until I saw one the other day and it looked so out of place.
Gretchen has finally found some fun in the baby swing. With Jaden we couldn't have lived without that swing...it was his favorite thing. Rachel hated it, but isn't that a second child for you...If the first one loves it the second one will hate it just to spite you. Gretchen never really cared either way. She hasn't been in it forever, but I decided to give it one more try before I packed it away. She started wiggling so much the thing almost launched off of the floor.
Only a few more days until Christmas and once again we have yet to start our Christmas shopping. It's just too hard to do with kids. I actually know pretty much what we are getting everyone, but now I just have to get it.
Tomorrow night is going to be the fun event of the year...do you hear the sarcasm in my voice? Bob's annual Christmas "Casino Royale" is tomorrow. Do Christmas and Casino really go together? It will be an evening of dinner and watching people I don't know have way too many drinks and then we will try to duck out early. Hey, it's dinner that I don't have to cook, right?
