Gretchen is a lover...and so is Rachel. The problem is that Gretchen is also a hair puller. Rachel gets too close, Gretchen grabs on and I hear, "No Jetchen No!" It has become a very frequent occurance around here.
Yesterday the kids were having fun and running around. I was sitting on the chair in the living room and Rachel had been running back and forth from me to my bedroom. She came running out of our room and Rachel speed (which is always much faster than her feet can go) and tripped...like usual. What made this so funny was that she tripped, landed on her hands and knees and bounced back up and kept running. I'm not that sure she even knew she fell, it happened that fast.
Jaden is learning how to do with his emotions. When he used to get upset he would start to cry and have a meltdown. We are working on him using his words instead. Yesterday we picked him up from preschool. I had already warned him when I dropped him off that he wasn't going to lunch bunch and that if he cried when I picked him up he was going to have to take a nap. Well, I picked him up and he didn't look happy. He looked like he was going to burst out into tears, but he knew he shouldn't. We got in the car and he asked me if I was sure he couldn't go to lunch bunch. I told him I was sure. Then he said, "Mom, I am very irritated with you." I'm guessing he's heard that somewhere before...
Still no sign of the missing sippy cup. I have looked every where and by my best estimation it's been gone about a week. Yuck. I think I need to look in Bob's car. Smelly.
I, Mari Rivers, am here to state that I was wrong. I know it doesn't happen very often. However, after some research I found out that in fact you can not have 19 in a single hand of cribbage. (Thank you Mr. Hoyle.) So, Bob was right, I was wrong. (Does that make you happy Bobby?)...if I could stick my tongue out at you I would. :)
