Today was pajama day at preschool. Jaden thought it was pretty cool to wear his pj's to school, but he wasn't so sure of wearing his slippers at first. They did some fun things and watched a movie. They also did a turkey art project. He is so funny. He brought me his turkey...the kind built around a hand print. There was brown construction paper used as the head and body and then they were to glue wiggly eyes and feathers on it. He brought me his turkey and it didn't have any feathers, so I asked him why. "Because it's half naked." He also has become quite a translator. "Velcome hedum" is the Danish word for welcome home and "veggies" is the Chinese word for vegetables.
Rachel has also been quite funny. Most just running around and turning in circles to make herself dizzy. We have also finally figured out how to help the static in her hair so she doesn't always look like she just touched electricty.
Gretchen started cereal the other day and loves it. Jaden decided that she should add more variety to her menu and gave her some chocolate chip cookie. She loved it. Jaden and I had a dicussion about why you can't give babies food. At dinner she was getting tired and a little cranky. She was kind of half crying and just fussing a little bit. I asked her why she was upset. Jaden said, "momma, it's because she can't talk." He's probably more true than not.
Wednesday afternoon we leave for Racine to spend Thanksgiving day with Bob's family. Pray that the kids enjoy the car ride and that there is NO fighting. :)
