Tuesday, November 14th

Day #2 on the assult of Rachel's nukie. Still psyching myself up. I asked myself a question today...do I really want to try to take her nukie from her before we go to the Kalahari? Am I crazy?

We had our normal Tuesday...very busy. We were out of the house by 8:45 so Jaden could get to preschool at 9:00. It was stone soup day. Jaden brought the broth. No stone soup for him though...Jaden eat soup...are you kidding? They also painted turkeys and learned about the tower of Babel in chapel. He loves preschool. So after dropping Jaden off at 9:00, the girls and I head off to church to go to Homemakers. Rachel loves going to bible class and it's good for her to play with some other kids her age. We rush home to get back in time for Bob to go back to work...he has to pick up Jaden because I can't get back there by 11:30. Then it's lunch, naps and trying to get something done before dinner and then the babysitter at 6:45. We are out the door and home by 1:00-1:30. Unfortunately Gretchen was up probably four times last night for no apparent reason so not too much sleep for me.

Jadenism for the day (actually it's from Sunday):
We are walking out of the house when two friends come up to the door to meet with Bob. After we get in the car I ask Jaden if he knows who they are. He says no. I tell him their names and that they are Sharae's brother and sister. Sharae babysits the kids some times. Jaden says, "Wow, that's really cool. I didn't know that Sharae had a family." I told her brother and sister last night and they wanted to know where he thought that she came from. The stork perhaps?
