Day 1 in the "Lose the Nukie campaign for Rachel"
It's the first day in the assult on Rachel's Nukie. My objective today...psych myself up to take it from her. Mission successful? No. She only had her Nuk during nap time and bed time, but I was only going to let her have ONE during bedtime...I got tired of listening to her cry for "more nukie" and caved. Why is this so hard for me AND why is she so connected to a little piece of plastic?
We did nothing. Well, lots of playing and napping. Even Jaden took a nap...momma needed some time to herself. Unfortunately I did nothing productive with it. I don't have time for unproductive time this week. We leave for the Kalahari Resort on Friday morning. We need to get packed; Gretchen to go to Grammie and Grandpa's and the rest of us to go to the Dells. I need to sit down and figure out what we need to bring with to keep two kids happy with the babysitter while we are there. It's going to be a really fun weekend. Jaden can't wait. I don't think he remembers being there last year, but he does remember being at the one in TRF this summer. It is going to be a great time for them...all of their friends are going too.
Two days is a row of keeping the house clean and I love that. I am working at getting the kids to clean up after themselves...shouldn't be too hard right? ;)
