This weekend...

We had such a great weekend. The kids and I had a lot of fun on Friday...lots of playing. We really didn't get anything productive done. We had family night and Bob and I watched a couple of movies. It was very relaxing.

Saturday we had a lot more playing. I really should have been cleaning house...well, I did a little, but we were having way too much fun. We played Kalahari and I was the water slide. I think the best part of the weekend was Saturday night. Bob and I went on a much needed double date. It was great. We went downtown, watched part of the Hollidazzle Parade, ate dinner and then went to a movie. We saw Deja Vu. It was pretty good...definately made you think. The kids went over to some friends to play. They had a lot of fun too. I got a text message during dinner to see if Rachel could take a bath with Kenzie because she was trying to crawl in. She kept pulling at her clothes and saying "off please" over and over. Jaden got to watch Cars again, so it was a good night for him too. Gretchen definately gets spoiled everytime she goes over there...the kids just love her.

Today after church I went to a baby shower. Girl time is always fun. Bob got to have a day with the kids. The girls napped and the boys played. They were just having dinner when I got home...it was nice that I didn't have to cook. Rachel is getting so funny these days. She is really working on her vocabulary. For a while she has been repeating what we say, but tonight she stepped it up. I was calling for Jaden and he didn't hear me. Every time I would call Jaden, she would say Matthew after that. She is definately very cute. I was hoping to get a little more time with them, but somehow the night just flew by. All of a sudden Gretchen decided it was time for bed and that was that.

We haven't decided what we are doing tomorrow. Maybe we will just try to catch up on the house...it gets kind of crazy on the weekends. We have some fun things planned for this week including a trip to the zoo on Friday with some friends...should be exciting and we'll have lots of cute pictures too.
