I don"t really have any funny stories today. Rachel was standing at the patio door looking at it rain and say, "oh no, oh no, oh no...it"s raining, can"t go outside now." She is really talking a lot...and saying some pretty funny things. We bought her first big girl undies the other day. I haven"t got the courage to try them without a diaper yet though...maybe next Monday...I would love to have her potty trained...I don"t remember what it was like to only have one in diapers...Jaden didn"t get totally trained until right before Gretchen was born. Here is a picture of my tomboy trying to be a girly -girl. Her baseball hat with her "strapless dress" are really cute.
I can't believe how much bigger Gretchen gets every day. She can't decide if she wants to walk...which makes her happy because she's very independent...or if she wants to crawl because she can get there faster. I am very excited for Becky and Bumpa to see her next weekend...It was only a month or so ago that they saw her, but she has changed a lot. I also can't believe that we are going to have another 1st birthday around here pretty soon. You can't really tell it, but here is a picture of Gretchen standing and about to take some steps.
Speaking of birthdays...Jaden is very excited for April to start because "April is the month that my birthday is in." Little does he understand that the 30th is the last day of the month. He is definitely getting older...this morning I asked him to go and make his bed and he actually did. Last night I asked him to clean his room for 5 minutes and he did that too without any fight. Hopefully that will continue. I would definitely love some help cleaning up toys around here.
