O Christmas Tree...

After having our Christmas tree set up in our living room for over a week, I finally decided to just quit procrastinating and get it decorated. The girls were more than willing (and eager) to help...and Jaden just said, "no thanks." (He did give in after a while when he heard how much fun the girls were having.) There were so many ohs and ahs as they looked at every single ornament. It's so fun to see the beauty of Christmas through a child's eyes. The tree looks perfect...exactly how the girls wanted it done...and no one will even notice that some of the branches have three ornaments on them...because that's where Gretchen wanted to put them. They have both spent the last few days rearranging the ornaments...that's their excuse for getting to touch them again. :)

Bob is in New York again, thankfully this time is only for a week. He'll be home on Friday and he is more than ready to come home now. The kids all got to talk to him on the phone tonight and it was really cute watching them pass the phone back and forth between them.

We seem to be past Luke's tummy issues! My stress level has gone way down because of it. I've had dairy twice now and it hasn't bothered him at all. Let me tell you, totally cutting dairy out of my diet for 10 weeks was really hard. (Lori, I don't know how you do it.) It wasn't that it was so hard not to eat it...it was just really hard to figure out what I could actually eat....and what I could feed everyone else. He's sleeping really good now too. Last night he went to bed at 9:30 and didn't wake up until 6. He went down again tonight at 9:30 and I'm believing that he's going to make until morning again too. I love uninterupted sleep. :)
