Pool day

Since it's supposed to be 90 today I decided that last night I should get motivated, clean the pool up since I didn't after we used it last time and get it set up with water so we'd be all ready for today. So, this morning we went right from pj's to swim suits and headed outside to enjoy the day before it got too hot. The kids love the pool, but haven't figured out yet that if they splash someone they are going to get splashed back. (It's a lot of fun to splash someone, but no one wants to get splashed.) We had a dolphin show, a shark show, a whale show...and many, many other interesting things swimming in our pool today. We were only out for a little more than an hour (because pregnant momma could only take that much heat) but it actually was the right amount of time. I had put 50 SPF on the kids before we went out and Jaden still had one heck of a tan line when we came in. Here I thought that Gretchen was the only one to get that nice Rivers' skin...guess I was wrong. (Now if there was only some way that I could get it.) Here are a few pictures that I took of them playing.

We had Barb's baby shower on Saturday and that was a lot of fun. Of course we had to take our last chance at getting the three pregnant girls together for a picture...Heidi won't be home again until after Barb has had the baby.

Heidi (due 11/9/08), Barb (due 8/30/08) and Mari (due 9/26/08)

Jaden also lost another tooth on the bottom...right next to the two middle ones that he lost last year. Still waiting for the top ones...they are wiggly, but not wiggly enough.
