Rachel story for the day: This morning as we were getting dressed for the day Rachel disappeared. When I found her she was in big trouble. She was standing on the dining room chair, naked, with the tub of butter in front of her. She had buried Gretchen's nuk that she had stolen (which she does often) in the tub of butter AND she had a hand full of it that I think she would have eaten if I wouldn't have caught her. She gives me a never ending list of material and stories. Her favorite thing to do is play outside. She would be out there from sun-up to sun-down if I let her. The problem is that Gretchen wants to put everything in her mouth and I'm a little tired of her eating sand. We spent most of today out there and that shows if you look at her head....her hair is it's own sandbox.
Gretchen is getting so big. She is definitely a birly girl. She spends most of her day walking around carrying a babydoll and a purse. She also loves dancing and does it any chance she hears music. It's hard to believe that she's already one. She seems like she still should be a little baby.
Jaden had learned that helping out around the house earns him privledges. The thing that he doesn't like is that some of the things that he does to help out he has to do just because he is part of the family...not to get something out of it. It is nice to get help without complaining...well at least most of the time. He is the best "prayer" I know and is in charge of praying before meals. His prayers keep getting longer and some days I'm not sure we're every going to get to eat. :)
I may have a new hobby/addiction. Photo editing. I have been having fun the last couple of days and have probably spent way too much time messing around with it. Here are a couple cute pictures I have done.
