Oh Rachel...

I don't even know what to call this...Organic Paint or Girls Behaving Badly. Here is my story...the names have NOT been changed...there are no innocent. Oh yeah...if you are squeemish...you might not want to read any further.

This evening we were patiently waiting the our new babysitter to come over and meet the kids. I had just checked on the girls maybe 5 minutes before. The doorbell rings...Jami is here. Gretchen comes running out of Rachel's room with Rachel not far behind. The problem...Gretchen is holding a bowl full of poop. Where did she get a bowl full of poop? Let me tell you. Rachel of course. Rachel has taken her shirt off (how nice of her not to get it dirty). She apparently has filled her diaper...then taken it all out of the back of her diaper. She is covered all the way up to both elbows. She doesn't really see anything wrong with this is doesn't understand why I am upset. Did you remember that the doorbell just rang? I sent Jaden to answer it...I pick up Rachel and start carrying her upstairs trying not to get dirty myself. As I pass the new babysitter (the one we've never met before) I have to apologize to her and tell her I have to give Rachel a quick bath. What must she think of us? It was a great first impression. I get Rachel cleaned up and go out to the living room to meet with Jami. Good think Jaden is really good at keeping people company...sometimes too good. We talk for a while and right before she is going to go Jaden decides that he wants to show her his room. We all head downstairs and as we pass by Rachel's room I notice something that isn't quite right. It's the wall covered in poop. Yes, a lovely three dimensional artwork done exclusively by Rachel. I never knew I was going to spend my evening sanitizing Rachel's room, walls and toys. The good thing is that I think we may have only lost one thing. I think that her Cabbage Patch Krystal Michele is going to have to go away...unless I can get her cleaned up. Anyone ever tried to put a Cabbage Patch in the washer?

Hello everyone -

This surpasses any stories I have to share of Mari or Jeremy when they were little. Never had to wash a cabbage patch. The worst I had to wash from a wall was Magic Marker.

Did the Cabbage Patch wash well?

Keep smiling. Just remember, she will be embarassed by it one day.
