A couple of days ago Rachel went upstairs and got very quiet. I went up there only to find her underneath the dining room table with an empty bottle of maple syrup next to her. No, she hadn't dumped it out all over, she drank it. She actually didn't get too messy either. I cleaned her up the little that I needed to, ran downstairs for a minute and when I came back up, this is how I found her...asleep.
She was out cold. We decided last night that we are going to have to break down and get a fridge lock to keep her out. Three or four times last night we caught her getting either the chocolate or carmel syrup out of the fridge...I just don't want to deal with that mess.
The past couple of months we have been dealing with Jaden and Rachel fighting. Not really a big deal...I guess it's just something that siblings go through. Well, today the horizons broadened. Rachel and Gretchen were fighting. It was pretty funny actually. I think Gretchen was more mad than Rachel was. Gretchen just isn't a baby anymore. For the last two days she has been carrying a babydoll around. I just can't believe that she's almost a year old.
Jaden hasn't sat still long enough lately for me to get a new picture of him. But we should have some good ones tomorrow. Tonight he is going to a Twins game with Bob and they are going to have so much fun. Tomorrow they are celebrating his birthday at preschool so we have to get out to the store today and decide what birthday treat he is going to bring. Something full of sugar no doubt. :)
Had to just share this video I found on my camera. It reminds me of the pictures that we found that Jaden took. Leave it to Rachel to figure out how to take a video. This is actually one of four that she took. Enjoy!!
