We made it through the first week of school. The kids are having a blast and loving their new teachers and school. This week they convinced me that they were ready to walk to school by themselves. My plan was to work into it, I just didn't think it would happen so fast...but most of the kids walk without their parents so I guess it wasn't too cool anymore that Luke and I were going with them. :)
I'm not loving the fact that it's colder now. It happened so fast. It's been so nice that I didn't even think about school clothes shopping because the kids were set for the weather that we were having. Once I saw that it was going to be colder I had to quick have them try on their clothes and we don't have much left. I guess they all grew a lot over the summer. :)
I can't believe it's going to be Luke's birthday next week. How did three years go so fast? It seems like it was just yesterday and we were on our way to the hospital to have him. He is hilarious and VERY charming. It's what keeps him alive most of the time. :) I've really enjoyed having a copule days a week with just the two of us. He is such a good little helper too...he follows me around when I'm cleaning up asking if he can help. He definitely wants to be one of the big kids.
