Why is it that some little girl...who will remain nameless...has to freak out every night when asked to go to the bathroom before bed. She can be running around, but the minute I ask her to go to the bathroom she is either, "way too tired" or "too cold." (Insert whiny voice here.) Doesn't she know that at times, it can get on my very last nerve?
Anyway...we had a really fun weekend. Jeremy, Shari and Evie were here from Thursday until Sunday. The kids had so much fun. On Friday while Jeremy was working and Shari was at a conference, I took the kids to Como Zoo. We had a ton of fun, but of course I forgot my camera. Evie is now in TR spending a few days with Grandma and Bumpa...and by some miraculously event, we are able to web cam again. The kids have had fun with that the last two nights.
So, what do I need to do to get another six or so hours added on to my day? I have a list a mile or so long of things that I want/need to get done every day and no way possible to try to get them all done. I try to prioritize them, but unfortunately that means that sleep and sanity time lose out regularly. I'm starting to think about my spring cleaning list and wondering how I'm going to get that done. We really need Alice at our house!
Have you ever wondered why hamburger is called hamburger and not beefburger? (Yes, I know it's called ground beef.) Really, it's not made out of ham. I just wonder.
Now I'm wondering why another nameless little girl finds it necessary to eat anything possible that she can find that has been dropped on the floor...and then when asked why she is doing that says, "oh, it's fine." What goes through their little heads?
Ok, I now must go and drag the first nameless little girl out of the bathroom because she won't put her jammie bottoms back on and it is definitely past the time I want them in bed.
