Birth story and pictures...finally!

So I'm behind a little bit...cut me some slack...I just had a baby. :) Here is the quick version of the story...wait, the whole thing was quick so there only is a quick version. We were supposed to be induced (because I was at a 4 and having no contractions they were willing to induce me early) at 9 am on Friday morning. At 7 they called and bumped us and said they'd call in 2 hours. At 12:30 I called them and they said to come in at 2. When we got there they weren't quite ready for us, but we only waited maybe 30 minutes for a room. They were going to get my antibiotic started right away, but it never got there until almost 4. They were then going to break my water in 2 hours, but there were so many babies being delivered and only one doctor there they weren't able to break it until 8:15. At 8:45 we started walking...with no contractions yet. By 9:15 I couldn't walk anymore...in fact I was starting to wonder if I was going to make it back to my room. They ordered my epidural because it normally takes an hour by the time the dr gets there and it kicks in...thankfully he was there in about 15 minutes. After the epi kicked in I rested for about an hour and a half. After that things started moving really fast. Bob had to call the nurse...the nurse frantically started calling the dr who was with a patient in the ER and she barely made it there. Luke was born after 3 contractions of pushing. He was 8 lbs 3 oz and 21 1/4 inches long. We are all doing great! Here are a few pictures....I will post more later.

And you look great Mari. You don't look like you just gave birth.
