Back to school

Well, school is in full swing and we are loving it at our house! Jaden was so excited to get back and start 1st grade this year. He was more than happy to get up and ready yesterday morning and out the door. Gretchen was not so happy when he got out of the van because she wanted to go too. He really loves his new teacher, Mrs. Moll, and I think she is going to be really good for him this year. He was really excited to go back today and ate his breakfast and got ready for school (including his shoes) in 20 minutes, leaving 40 minutes to find something to do before we had to leave. Surprisingly enough I am excited to be back to the routine of having to get up. I was a little worried how I'd do, but it's been good. My goal is to be up and dressed before I get the kids up and so far so good. Today I even got up early enough to get some other things done before the kids got up.

We are in the process of interviewing some new babysitters since our list had become very dry. Late last night I scheduled one for today at 2:30 and then after that wondered what I had done. So, I spent all of today trying to get the house in order. It was actually good. I did some very deep cleaning that I want to get done before the baby comes. I definitely have some more things I want to get done, but it was a really good start.

Tomorrow is my next doctor's appointment (37 weeks) so I guess I could be officially on baby watch after that. I'm curious to see if I'm progressing at all. I haven't been having as many Braxton Hicks contractions with this pregnancy as I did with the others, but I guess by now my body pretty much knows what to do.

Here are a couple of pictures of the kids from yesterday and a couple of my big belly from today.
