Gracious...I'm a slacker!!

Ok..so I knew that it had been a long time since I posted, but I didn't know it had been since the beginning of August. Sometimes I think I need to make myself a very detailed, daily to-do list...you know, get up, brush teeth, feed kids, update blog...you know, the important stuff. Since I can't possibly update with all that has been going on around here I'll give you the highlights.

Jaden: Kindergarten has started and Jaden loves it!! He goes all day, every other day, so it's 2 days one week and 3 days the next. He would be much happier if he went all day every day, but that will come soon enough. He also loves homework. On days that he doesn't get any, he makes me go online and print him off worksheets so he has something to do. We have also been making regular trips to the library to pick out books. I think we're going to have to start going more often because we are getting through them too fast. School has also helped him learn to like playing outside. I guess recess can do wonders for a kid.

Rachel: Well, Rachel is as daring as ever. She is always trying to do new things...physically. She taught herself how to do somersaults (is that how you spell it?) and she also does back flips off of the couch. At least she keeps me on my toes. She is officially in her big girl bed and she loves it!! It's a loft with a slide and it keeps the kids buys. We are working on potty training and if I was more consistent I think we would be done. I'll have to get better at that.

Gretchen: Gretchen is really growing up. She is starting to talk sooo much. She is a very determined little girl and won't let a little lack of communication skills slow her down. When she wants a cracker she will take me by the hand to the kitchen and point to the cupboard. She and Rachel battle for who's in charge and depending on what day it is depends on who wins.

Well, enough for now...I'll try to do better keeping updated. But for now, here's some pictures!!! :)
