It's Saturday! :)

We had kind of a crazy week....definitely off our routine....but definitely fun. On Wednesday we ran to Mayer to drop something off at Barb's. We were going to stay for an hour, but it was so fun and the kids were playing so well that we stayed longer. Grami even showed up so we got to see her too. We need to get together more often...and when we do I need to remember to bring my camera. Last night was family fun night, as is every Friday. After a very yummy dinner and a very entertaining dance show by the kids we went to Cold Stone....YUM! Today Rachel had a birthday party to go to for a friend at school....at 9 in the morning. I'm not a fan of my alarm going off at 6:30...notice I didn't say getting up at 6:30. She had so much fun. It was for a little girl in her class and they went to Pump It Up. I was able to meet some of the moms of the girls that she talks about so that was nice. Now we're just waiting for some friends to come over for dinner...the kids are very impatient because they are ready to play. I'm impatient because Bob is making stuff mushrooms for an appetizer, Chicken Kiev and wild rice with brown sugar glazed carrots for dinner. I still need to make monkey bread for dessert...but since I didn't get it done before I have to wait for my turn with the oven. I'm thinking a bigger kitchen with two ovens would be nice right about now. :)
