I'm not even going to try to catch everyone up other than...the kids are older, the kids are bigger and we've been having fun. :)
Anyway, what I'm doing now is procrastinating putting the kids to bed and starting to pack for the 4th. We are leaving on Friday to head to the lake and spend the weekend with my parents, Jeremy, Shari and Evie. The kids are so excited for all of the adventures that they plan on having. Fishing, driving the boat, riding in the golf cart, sleeping in the tent, digging in the dirt (for Rachel at least) and playing with Evie. They had so much fun last year and every day the girls ask me how many more sleeps they have until we can leave.
There are new babies all over the Rivers' family. Barb and Dan had their baby in March. It sounds like baby James has been a very easy addition to their family and I know that Julia loves being a big sister. Heidi and Amos welcomed Hannah home the middle of June and if Andrew is anything like Jaden was when we had a new baby, he probably could care less. :) So, that makes the Rivers' grandchildren even on boys and girls at four each. I know that Curt and Vicki are excited to have so many cute faces in the family.
Curt and Vicki are on an adventure. Check out their blog listed under my "Friend's Blogs." I think as of today they are in Seattle.
My mom and dad are carefully planning for this weekend. Making sure that there is enough for five grandkids to do at the lake is no easy task. But, each year it gets bigger and better and the kids have soooo much fun.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday Weekend!
