Yes, I admit I've been a bad blogger. I think of updating often, but with the million other things that I need to get done in a day, taking the time to get the pictures off of the camera, upload them to photobucket, resize them and upload them on to the blog...sometimes it's just too much so I don't do anything. So, here is my new plan of attack and you're all just going to have to deal with it. :) I will blog when I think of it...much more often than I've been doing....but there won't be pictures everytime. I can take five minutes and update on what we've been doing and get on with my day. So, with that said...here's what's going on with us.
Jaden is in a special reading class at school called Talent Development. They're writing and illustrating their own books and he loves it. His teacher also suggested that he enter a writing contest that the district puts on. We need to get working on that. My mom bought him a computer program that helps you write a book. He has since writen his first book and we are going to have it published. (Part of the program lets you send it in and they will print and bind it for you.) He's really excited.
Gretchen is working on potty training and doing really well. She actually does better when wearing undies than when wearing a pull-up. Hopefully we'll only have one in diapers soon.
Rachel had a great birthday and is already wondering when she'll be 4 1/2. I have pictures to share later...but probably not today. She is really turning into a little lady and has spent most of the last few weeks wearing one of her many princess dresses.
Luke is really getting big. He was 16 lbs 9 oz and 25 1/2 inches at his 4 month appointment. He is growing out of his 6-9 month clothes and into his 12 months..which doesn't seem possible. Unfortunately because of his tummy issues and then complicated by me getting mastitis I have decided to wean him. He's doing well with it. We are really working at getting him on some sort of schedule (which isn't easy with all of the running we have to do) so that he will sleep through the night. This morning he slept until 6...now if I'd go to bed before 2:45 ever I would get some much needed sleep.
Bob and I are doing great...busy but great. Nothing too unusual in our schedules these days.
