Last night Gretchen officially moved to her big girl bed and she and Rachel became roommates. They did really well...after an hour of them playing after we put them to bed. Nap time today only happened because I laid down with her...and then fell asleep myself. I know it will only get better every day. She has also been Nuk free for 24 hours. We told her that when she moved to her big bed the Nuk was gone...and it's gone. Hopefully tonight will go as well as last night and nap time did.

Today I was able to get the baby's bedding wash and put in his room. I still have to take all of the pink things off of the walls. They are definitely going to look bare because I don't have anything to match the new crib set to put up yet. And of course we probably have to decide on a name before I can buy letters and get them up. I also did the first load of baby clothes. We have tons of sleepers and a couple of outfits, but since Jaden was born the end of April everything else is pretty summery. And everything is baby blue and yellow since that's all they had for boys six years ago. I was pleasantly surprised to find many more color choices that last couple of times that I have been out.
As far as the last couple of weeks have gone...the kids and I spent a couple days at the lake. We had a lot of fun and even caught some fish. After that, my mom came and spent the next few days with us and of course, we had to go on a few adventures. Here are some pictures of the Children's Museum.

Unfortunately, one very busy week caused me to have one week of recovery for my body...which is definitely telling me we are getting close to baby time. We are five weeks from my due date and three weeks from the time that Gretchen came...so who really knows how much time we have left...definitely need to get the rest of the things done around here. As we get closer we will keep you more up to date with how that's going. Still no baby for Barb and Dan...as of today they have one week until their due date so we are patiently awaiting their call. :)
